India’s next wave of entrepreneurs could come from its food businesses

Delivery aggregators have given home cooks andfirst time cloud kitchen founders access to city wide demand. Cold chain and last mile logistics have improved enough that ingredients can travel further and faster without spoiling. Together, these shifts are pushing India’s food business away from a purely informal, cash and word of mouth model. It is moving towards one where formalisation and scale are within reach of businesses that were always too small to access them before.
